Maryland pursues UNC defensive line recruit J.R. Ferguson
Posted Feb 15, 2009
Last weekend's junior day at Maryland attracted many of the state's top 2010 prospects, none so highly sought as St. John's-Prospect Hall lineman J.R. Ferguson.
Ferguson, who already boasts 31 scholarship offers including many from some of the nation's powerhouse programs, had been to Maryland before. And just as he did previously, he enjoyed the visit.
Oklahoma, Tennessee, Clemson, LSU, Miami, Nebraska, North Carolina and Penn State are just a few of the schools vying with Maryland for his commitment.
