Posted Jan 20, 2009
North Carolina and N.C. State continued to build their football recruiting classes yesterday, each adding a promising player to fill a pressing need. UNC landed one of the state's top high-school seniors in Travis Bond, a 6-7, 325-pound offensive tackle from Windsor and Bertie High School. Bond was a preseason All-America in selections by SuperPrep, a high-school football recruiting magazine. He was ranked No. 34 nationally in the preseason at his position.
