Julius Peppers, on the other hand, is truly a homegrown Panthers Hall of Famer, as well as the first player the Panthers drafted to be enshrined. He was born and raised in the tiny town of Bailey, N.C., 35 miles east of Raleigh. Then he went to school at UNC, making such a name for himself that he was the No. 2 overall pick of the 2002 draft — by Carolina. (MSN.com)
