UNC Softball Improves To 17-3 With Run-Rule Win Over Furman


The North Carolina softball team (17-3) improved to 12-2 at Anderson Stadium with a 13-5 five-inning victory over Furman on Tuesday night. It was the Tar Heels' ninth run-rule victory of the season. Freshman Sanaa Thompson extended her hit-streak to 18 games with a 3-for-3 night at the plate with a three-run home run and a career-best six RBI. (GoHeels.com)
