Lowell Dyer's move to center has helped drive Heels' offense
Posted Nov 14, 2008
The last five weeks have been kind to Lowell Dyer. After North Carolina beat Miami on Sept. 27, the Tar Heels' coaches installed the Riverside product as UNC's starting center, moving Dyer ahead of Aaron Stahl on the depth chart. That move coincided with Alan Pelc taking over as the starting left guard, and ever since, UNC's running game has been powering ahead to the tune of 146.6 yards per game.
