UNC Softball's Season Ends In ACC Quarterfinals

The UNC softball team's season ended Thursday in the ACC Championship quarterfinals, falling to No. 10 Clemson 2-1 in eight innings. The Tar Heels finish the 2023 season with a record of 26-28 (13-10 ACC). Despite the loss, sophomore Lilli Backes threw another gem in the circle, limiting the Tigers to four hits and one earned run with seven strikeouts.
