Three Big Four schools have a shot at 10 or more football victories. UNC has accomplished the feat eight times. The Tar Heels finished 10-1 under Thomas Trenchard in 1914; 11-1 under Bill Dooley in 1972; 11-1 and 10-2 under Dick Crum in 1980 and '81; 10-3, 10-2, and 11-1 under Mack Brown in 1993, '96, and '97; and 11-3 under Larry Fedora in 2015.
