Bill Hayes reflects on being honored by North Carolina

Growing up in Durham, NC in the 1950s, Bill Hayes lived in the shadow of UNC. Seven decades later he’s being honored at Kenan Memorial Stadium along with fellow legendary HBCU football coaches Rod Broadway and Ruddy Hubbard. Living in the Jim Crow South, UNC was a school he couldn’t have attended. So being honored at UNC is pretty wild. (HBCU Gameday)
