Tar Heel Football Opener Under the Lights

The University of North Carolina opens the 2005 football season on September 10 at Georgia Tech with a 3:30 start time. The game will be televised regionally by ABC. One week later, the Tar Heels open the home portion of their schedule against the University of Wisconsin Badgers. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. and the game will be nationally televised by ESPN2.
