Matt Baker’s performance key in football opener

Friday, September 09, 2005

Georgia Tech will be too strong in too many areas, most notably the quarterback matchup, the rushing game and the pursuit of UNC quarterback Matt Baker. Plus, the Yellow Jackets will be carrying plenty of momentum from the upset of Auburn, to say nothing of a home crowd that’ll have Bobby Dodd Stadium. The Bottom Line: Georgia Tech 23, North Carolina 13. (Daily Tar Heel)
