Trimane Goddard anxious for second season with Tar Heels

Trimane Goddard isn't used to coming in second. While that may have happened to him in his battle with senior Mahlon Carey for the starting strong safety spot on the North Carolina Tar Heels, the sophomore isn't sulking about it. "I'm happy for him," Goddard said. "We'll both play a lot. I just look at the battle and see that it made both of us better. In the end, that helped out the team." (Washington Daily News)
