A fresh start for UNC

Followers of UNC sports teams are a funny lot. On the basketball court, anything short of a national championship means it was a failed season or a "rebuilding year"; but for the typical eternally optimistic UNC football fan, small signs of progress are often enough to conjure visions of gridiron glory. Saturday's 31-24 win over rival North Carolina State yielded just those type of signs. (Tar Heel Daily)
