Julius Peppers was the right pick in 2002

When the Carolina Panthers travel to Detroit on Sunday, they will not take along a case of buyers' remorse. No matter what Lions quarterback Joey Harrington or Carolina defensive end Julius Peppers does that day, the Panthers firmly believe they made the right choice more than three years ago. With the second pick in the 2002 draft, the choice basically came down to Harrington of Oregon and Peppers of North Carolina.
