Carolina on Lebo's mind
Posted Feb 9, 2006
Auburn coach Jeff Lebo played at North Carolina in the 1980s, and still keeps close tabs on the Tar Heels. He watched with interest UNC's loss to Duke on Tuesday night. When the Tar Heels trailed by 17 points in the second half, UNC coach Roy Williams removed all five starters and watched reserves change the game's complexion. An idea was born. "I decided I'd try that if it happened tonight," Lebo said after Auburn's win.
