Tarboro's Shaun Draughn announces NFL retirement, community event

Tarboro native Shaun Draughn, who played his college football at North Carolina and six seasons in the NFL, most recently playing with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016, announced his official retirement from the NFL last week. Draughn also recently announced he’ll be back in his hometown on Dec. 16 for a winter coat drive ran by the Draughn Family Foundation. (Rocky Mount Telegram)
