Reynolds coach Pat Crowley saw the culture change for UNC football under Mack Brown

There was a culture change at North Carolina when Mack Brown arrived in Chapel Hill 30 years ago. Pat Crowley, now age 51 and finished with his fourth season as the head coach of the Reynolds football team, remembers it all too well. Back in 1988, he was beginning his junior year as an offensive lineman with the Tar Heels. Brown had just taken the reins at Carolina. (Winston-Salem Journal)
