Transfer Offensive Lineman Howard Sampson Flips Commitment to UNC
North Texas offensive tackle transfer Howard Sampson committed to TCU last month. On Sunday, he flipped his commitment to North Carolina. Before committing to TCU on Dec. 18, Sampson, a 6-foot-8, 325-pound, took early December official visits to UNC and home state TCU. Jordan Shipp – UNC. Shipp was a late arrival at the All-American Bowl, but wasted no time making his presence felt on Wednesday. Shipp had multiple touchdowns during the joint practice. He flashed strong hands and consistently won at the catch point. He also showed encouraging movement skills. Shipp got deep for a long touchdown in 7-on-7. (

Having been selected to play in the twenty-fourth All-American Bowl, Shipp will play in the annual East vs. West matchup in San Antonio, Texas on Jan. 6, 2024. (

UNC targets state of Georgia for Class of 2024 football signees

Mack Brown landed a fifth consecutive recruiting class ranked in the top 30. North Carolina added 12 players on offense, 14 players on defense and a kicker. UNC signed eight in-state players as well as eight from Georgia, five from Florida and three from Tennessee, which is not a typical recruiting state for the Tar Heels. (
