Caroline Price, Joey Sankey Win Patterson Medals

Caroline Price, the Most Outstanding Player at the ITA National Indoor Tennis Championships, and Joey Sankey, UNC’s all-time leading scorer in men’s lacrosse, are the recipients of the 2014-15 Patterson Medals, the most prestigious athletic honor awarded at UNC. UNC Women's Tennis Falls In Quarters To Bruins

The No. 2 seed UNC women’s tennis team fell in the NCAA quarterfinals to the 7th-seeded UCLA Bruins 4-1 Sunday at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center at Baylor University. This was a rematch of the NCAA Championship match last spring, in which UCLA won 4-3. UNC Women's Tennis Wins 2nd National Indoor Title

No. 3 North Carolina has staked its claim as the top women’s tennis program in the nation with its second ITA National Team Indoor Championship in the last three years, winning 4-1 over No. 9 Georgia in Monday’s finale.
