Bobby Frasor: From real estate to his real love

Commercial real estate can’t compare to a courtside seat. That’s the conclusion Bobby Frasor arrived at when he chose to pursue the vacant head-coaching position at his high school alma mater. Bobby Frasor is coming home. The former McDonald's All-American and member of North Carolina's 2009 NCAA men's basketball national championship team was named on Friday as the boys basketball coach at his alma mater, Brother Rice.

UNC's plethora of point guards

Marcus Paige is still the king of the point guards, but Nate Britt, Joel Berry and Stilman White bring a depth that UNC hasn’t had in quite a while. In 2008-09, UNC had a wealth of point guards with Bobby Frasor, Larry Drew II and of course, Ty Lawson. But since then, UNC has really only operated with one true point guard and one back up.

Lucas: Chapel Hill Continues Danny Green Love Affair

Nothing in the past five years prepared Danny Green for what happened at Kenan Stadium on Saturday. When Green was told he'd be honored at the end of the first quarter, he thought he might wave at the crowd, soak in a couple of cheers, and go back to his seat, where he was enjoying hanging out with former teammates Deon Thompson, Bobby Frasor and Marc Campbell. That's not what happened.

On the way to a national championship, the senior class of Tyler Hansbrough, Bobby Frasor, Danny Green and Mike Copeland (along with a redshirting Marcus Ginyard) did something that might have been just as fun: completed a 4-0 career at Cameron Indoor Stadium with a 101-87 win. "I told our guys, 'The streak is going to stop sometime,'" Roy Williams said after the game. "Let's just put it off another year."
