Top prep quarterback Paulus headed to UNC

Mike Paulus of Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse, N.Y.), the No. 2 quarterback in the class of 2007 according to recruiting analyst Tom Lemming, has verbally committed to play football at the University of North Carolina. Paulus, 6-5, 215, is the younger brother of Duke basketball point guard Greg Paulus. He chose the Tar Heels over Syracuse, Michigan, Southern Cal, Tennessee, Alabama and Northwestern.
