Lowe is Wolfpack pick

Former N.C. State star Sidney Lowe has agreed to a contract that would make him the Wolfpack’s next head basketball coach, ending a 35-day search that saw at least five other coaches turn down the job. Lowe — an assistant with the NBA’s Detroit Pistons — agreed to terms Tuesday but has yet to sign a contract, according to multiple sources.
