Danny Green expected to skip free agency; opt-in final year with Spurs

It's not an easy decision, but in the end, Danny Green has always bet on himself. NBA sources tell the Express-News Green will likely forgo free agency and exercise the final year of his contract with the Spurs, earning roughly $10 million for the 2018-19 season. Green, who will turn 31 Friday (June 22), averaged 8.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 70 games last season.
