On the heels of upset victory, North Carolina confirms style of play is CWS-worthy

The word “upset” may not begin to describe North Carolina’s 8-6 victory over Oregon State in the opening game of the College World Series. OSU has six players who earned All-America honors. UNC has no All-Americans and four who were picked All-ACC. Oregon State starting pitcher Luke Heimlich had more victories (16) than UNC’s top three starters combined.
