Nash Central linebacker Alex Nobles accepts preferred walk-on spot with UNC

On Tuesday in the media room of Nash Central High School, the senior sat down for signatures and pictures to make his preferred walk-on status official for Tar Heel football. Nobles, at 6-foot-3, played his senior season as a middle linebacker but expects to bulk up and line up as a defensive end. (Rocky Mount Telegram)
