Bobcats' shuffle hints at NBA return for Michael Jordan
Posted May 26, 2006
Michael Jordan has been looking to buy an NBA team since he was fired as president of the Wizards three years ago. Not only could he take over the struggling Bobcats at a relatively cheap price, but Jordan's good name and his roots in North Carolina could give the franchise a realistic shot at succeeding at the cash register. When Jordan was running the Wizards, he moved their training camp to his hometown of Wilmington, N.C., so there is no doubt that he would feel comfortable about returning home to Carolina.
