North Carolina Hosts NCAA Regional, Leads 5 Teams From N.C.

North Carolina will host a regional in the NCAA baseball tournament and leads five in-state teams into the postseason. North Carolina State, UNC-Asheville, UNC-Wilmington and Elon also earned berths in the 64-team tournament, which begins Friday with the double-elimination regionals. The pairings were announced Monday. The Tar Heels open the tournament against Maine at Boshamer Stadium. (WRAL.com)
