North Carolina's baseball title hopes ride on pitching staff

The recent history of UNC baseball leaves something to be desired in the minds of players and coaches. The Tar Heels have won one NCAA regional since their last College World Series appearance in 1989. The last two years have seen exits from regionals despite a combined 84 wins in the two seasons. But the Tar Heels seem to have an advantage as they open NCAA tournament play Friday: an experienced and solid pitching staff that's among the best in the nation.
