UNC Softball Tops Georgia Tech in the Series Opener

Despite Georgia Tech scoring first, a four-run fourth inning clinched the 4-2 win for UNC in the series opener over the Yellow Jackets in Atlanta on Friday. Brittany Pickett tossed six strikeouts in her third complete game of the week to improve to 25-9 on the season. Megan Dray led UNC's offense with a two-run double in the fourth while Leah Murray went 2-for-3.
