UNC volleyball player Julia Scoles to transfer to Hawaii


Julia Scoles, a former outside hitter for the North Carolina volleyball team, announced her decision to transfer to the University of Hawaii and compete for its beach volleyball team on Thursday. The Mooresville, N.C., native played one full season as a Tar Heel, and she made the most of it. As a freshman in 2016, Scoles was named ACC Freshman of the Year. (Daily Tar Heel)
