Source: Kenny Smith, who has never coached in the NBA, to interview with Knicks

TNT analyst Kenny Smith will interview for the New York Knicks' head-coaching job Friday, a source told ESPN's Stephen A. Smith. Smith, who played from 1987 to 1997 with six NBA teams, has never coached in the NBA. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported this week that the four top candidates are David Fizdale, Mark Jackson, David Blatt and Jerry Stackhouse.
