As Miller mowed down Crimson Tide hitters, the Carolina offense continued to thunder. Last weekend in the regional round, it was a Jay Cox three-run homer that ignited the bats against Maine and served as the catalyst for the 43-run weekend. In the first game of the super-regional, it was another homer, this one a two-run shot by Josh Horton in the first inning that immediately silenced a ready-to-party crowd of 5,240.
