E.J. Montgomery named Naismith All-American

Wheeler senior standout E.J. Montgomery is a “walking double-double.” That is how first-year coach Larry Thompson describes his 6-foot-10 power forward, who averaged 26 points and 13 rebounds this season. Not only does he have offers from some of Division I’s top programs, Montgomery’s earned Naismith High School Third-Team All-American honors. (Marietta Daily Journal)
