Cox Mill, Rechon Black, Wendell Moore repeat as N.C. 3A state champions

Cox Mill repeated as N.C. 3A state champion Saturday in Raleigh against Jacksonville Northside. Junior Wendell Moore sparked the 65-63 win after his team trailed 60-59 with two minutes left. Moore made six free throws in the final minute, including two with seven seconds left that proved to be the game-winners. UNC signee Rechon Black finished with 9 points. (Charlotte Observer)
