Why is thereso much buzz about Buzz?

From the moment the story broke that Tom Herrion was out as basketball coach at the College of Charleston, Buzz Peterson's name was at the top of the list of replacements. Peterson is a likeable guy who played his college ball at UNC, was on the Tar Heels' 1982 national championship team, but was best known as Michael Jordan's roommate. According to sources close to the Cougars' search, Peterson was queried about his possible interest in the Charleston job long before news hit the street that Herrion was out.
