Woodard's 'masterful' pitching leads UNC

Clemson's hitters felt like they were close to breaking something open against North Carolina's Robert Woodard. But The Tigers learned quickly never to doubt a man on a mission. Fresh off 16 days' rest, Woodard was itching to make his mark. On college baseball's biggest stage Sunday, the oft-overlooked hurler on the Tar Heels' staff turned in the pitching performance of the College World Series and put UNC one win from the championship series with a 2-0 victory over the top-seeded Tigers.
