Omaha embraces the CWS


Out here on the prairie, they delight in calling it "The Greatest Show on Dirt." It's a place and time that the president of a downtown bank might show up for work wearing a T-shirt that proclaims "I Love Baseball!" The College World Series, a marathon event that the citizens of Omaha and those in much of eastern Nebraska literally embrace, may well be college athletics' last fort of genuine innocence.
