UNC Places Seven Wrestlers Among Initial NCAA Coaches’ Panel Rankings

Seven wrestlers from the 25th-ranked Tar Heels were among the season’s first round of coaches’ panel rankings, which were released by the NCAA on Thursday. These rankings are used as a tool to help as part of the selection process for the 2018 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships. UNC’s top-ranked wrestler is redshirt senior Troy Heilmann at 149 pounds.
