Shelton brings celebrity status after play in College World Series

While the Outer Banks Daredevils have scrapped to get back amongst the top of the Coastal Plain League, Kyle Shelton was working on a much bigger mission. The North Carolina player was in the championship series of the College World Series last month, and could have well been the last batter up for the Tar Heels in the final game. And with Shelton being the last piece of the Outer Banks puzzle, his summer teammates wanted to know more about playing in Omaha, Nebraska. (Outer Banks Sentinel)
