Working hard for the recruits

If you are in Las Vegas or Indianapolis or Orlando or Teaneck, N.J., or North Augusta, S.C., in July, and you happen to spot North Carolina coach Roy Williams, offer to buy the man an iced tea. He could use a few minutes of peace. Other coaches speak of Williams' thirst for recruiting with a sense of awe. Actually, it's mostly assistant coaches who talk like that. They know how much energy it takes to be on the road as long as Williams is, in as many gyms as he visits.
