NC State guard Markell Johnson suspended for violation of student-athlete code of conduct


North Carolina State University sophomore guard Markell Johnson has been suspended from the basketball team for an unspecified violation, according to a university spokesperson. Johnson was suspended for a violation of the student-athlete code of conduct, according to Craig Hammel, director of athletics communications. The nature of the violation is not clear.
