Old Charlotte prep rivalries extend to UNC-N.C. State football

When the Tar Heels and Wolfpack kick off at 3:30 p.m. in Raleigh, there will be 26 players who attended high schools in the Charlotte area on the sidelines. Fifteen of those play for UNC, while the Wolfpack suits up 11. Many of those players first met on the football field in high school, which adds another layer of intensity to the UNC-N.C. State rivalry. (Fayetteville Observer)
