Nathan Elliott embraces chance with Tar Heels

Nathan Elliott was paying attention as UNC's backup quarterback. But what he went through last week was much more valuable. Making his first collegiate start, the redshirt sophomore played a full game as the Tar Heels took down Pittsburgh on Nov. 9 to snap a six-game losing streak. Now he’s pegged as the starter for Saturday’s home finale against Western Carolina.
