Tigers seal four-year deal for Miller

The Detroit Tigers have come to terms on a four-year contract with their first-round draft pick from this year, left- handed pitcher Andrew Miller. Miller, who played collegiately at North Carolina, compiled a 13-2 record with a 2.48 ERA in 20 games for the Tar Heels this season. He struck out 133 batters and was named the winner of the Roger Clemens Award as college baseball's top pitcher. Miller recorded 325 strikeouts at North Carolina, most in school history.
