UNC-Asheville to play Tar Heels in basketball


For a second straight season, the UNC Asheville men’s basketball team will play North Carolina. In a 2006-07 schedule set to be released later today, the Bulldogs will travel to Chapel Hill on Dec. 16 to face the Tar Heels and coach , an Asheville native. Game time hasn’t been determined. The Bulldogs received over $50,000 last season to play UNC, a game won by the Tar Heels 89-47. (Asheville Citizen-Times)
