NCAA appeal denied: Braxton Beverly won't play for NCSU this season

The NCAA has denied its appeal for NC State basketball freshman Braxton Beverly's immediate eligibility. Coach Kevin Keatts said that Beverly is "devastated' over the decision. "Disappointed would be an understatement for how I feel for Braxton.” Keatts said. NC State announced on Oct. 13 Beverly’s request for immediate eligibility had been denied by the NCAA.
