“Seeing is believing” may be a cliché, but hackneyed doesn’t mean false. Even Carolina coach John Bunting is saying he needs to see his team win games to proclaim true progress. “My enthusiasm and my resolve have never wavered during this five years,” Bunting said. “We’ve had tough times, and we’ve had some outstanding moments. We all don’t need to go back and visit ’02 and ’03 because we know how devastating that was."
