Thursday Practice Notes

Thursday, August 10, 2006

When the team comes together during team blitz, you often get some of the best "Did you see that?" moments of practice. That's what happened Thursday. It wasn't a long pass or a great defensive play--it was a block. Fullback Nick Starcevic stoned Larry Edwards, who is probably the defender most offensive players least enjoy blocking. The hit was the loudest pad-popping play of the day and earned high on-field praise from John Bunting. (Tar Heel Blue)
