Disregarding the NFL departures, youth, injuries and mounting losses, North Carolina has not had a terrible year. Alas, you cannot disregard that stuff. It's been a nightmare season for the Tar Heels and Larry Fedora, a perfect storm of everything going wrong at once, and it doesn't look like there's a light at the end of the tunnel anytime soon.
