Tar Heels productive in first scrimmage
Posted Aug 13, 2006
Flags aside, UNC had a productive first scrimmage Saturday afternoon at Kenan Stadium. No statistics were kept at the event, which was closed to reporters and the public, but the Tar Heels left the field feeling optimistic about the rest of training camp. UNC ran plays from scrimmage and worked on its kicking game, in addition to participating in drills aimed at execution on third down and in the red zone.
