Missed opportunities cost North Carolina once again

One play can be the difference between victory and defeat. UNC is learning that the hard way this season with a 20-14 loss to Virginia. Saturday’s defeat marked the fourth time this year that the Tar Heels have come up short after holding a second-half lead. As singular mishaps have cost UNC individual games, the mistakes have mounted all the way to a 1-6 start.
